If you have dark eye circles under your eyes, you are probably a little down in terms of your career life.
Why? Because if you are simply starting your career life and you are already looking haggard and stressed out because of your under eyes, companies may not hire you.
Many companies prefer their employees look presentable.
It doesn’t mean that you should look like you are a model or an actress. But as long as you look pretty decent, it will mean plus points for you. So, if you are only in your 20s and you are already looking like you need tons of sleep, you might want to know what causes dark circles under eyes.
Sure, some people are not really stressed, tired or unhealthy, but they still look like they are. If you are one of those people who gets lots of sleep but are still looking like you are a walking zombie, what could have possibly led you to this?
1) Nasal problems – Sometimes when you have nasal congestion problems, your blood circulation cannot flow properly and therefore it gets congested in the nose area affecting the eyes.
2) It runs in the family – Look at your parents. Do they have dark under eyes too? If they do, you might have inherited it from them.
3) Diet and lifestyle – You may sleep well but how about your diet? If you are drinking so much coffee that you are immune to caffeine, chances are this is the one that causes dark circles under eye. It can also be because you eat too much sugar or fatty foods that keep you up all night or lessen your sleep.
4) Make-up irritation – If you are one of those people who like putting eye liner or shadow under your eyes, you will most likely get dark circles under eyes.
Most of the time, the make-up will react to your skin and this will lead to irritations and stains around the eyes. Not only women are wearing eye liners now, so men should also beware. Use an eye make up remover to totally remove your eye make up. Make sure you remove it before you sleep and do not sleep with make-up on.
If you are under any of the four conditions mentioned above and you want to use natural remedies instead of eye creams that are misleading and even more hazardous to your skin, you can try any of these:
- Honey or Almond Oil – These two are usually the ingredients used for eye creams. Since you do not want and should not use eye creams that have harmful chemicals, why not use ones that are safe like honey and almond oil? Dab a small amount onto your eyes for about ten minutes a day and then you can see the difference in just weeks.
- Cucumber or Potatoes – You can put cold cucumber or potatoes on your eyes for about 20 minutes a day and this will help your blood flow increase under your eyes.
