Fashion means a new trend which people approve in their daily life. It is a popularly accepted trend in the field of clothing, food or way of living. Fashion if it stands for a new trend or an innovation in the way of living according to Indian and Pakistani cultural norms is readily accepted a compared to the one which is against our cultural trends.
Fashion in our living style, clothes, jewellery, music, architecture and lots of things keep on changing according to the need of time. In the eighteen and nineteen century Asion women used to were heavy jewellery, heavy embroidered clothes with big necklaces, bangles, long earrings, lehngas and ghararas but now then is a lot of change. Pakistani, Indian and Asian women now prefer light embroidered clothes and light jewellery of diamonds and pearls. The concept of heavy jewellery has taken place of gold jewellery and light makeup is work instead of heavy now. It is all due to need of the time. Pakistani and Indian women have started working so fashions are adopted according to the need of the working women.
Similarly living in flats and high rise buildings eating simple and light Chinese food of becoming a vegetarian, doing exercise and taking a morning or evening walk and female working the different offices and factories is a change which is determined by the need of time conservatives think it to a fashion trend. Yes but a fashion trend is born of dire necessity and I believe that those trends in our way of living which are brought forward by the element of necessity are going to stay. So we should accept then with an open mind because the old order always.
