With over 350,000 applications each year, the elite model look is by far the most competitive to be in.  Spread across 5 continents, over 33 countries, and over $100 million in modeling contracts awarded to participants, it can also be one of the most lucrative opportunities you can come across in the world of modeling.

So How Do you Get Into this competition?

The first step you need to take is to contact a local modeling agency that works with Elite model management.  There are over 100 of these companies nationwide, and you can find many of them after running a quick google search.  You can also contact them directly on their official site.

Once you have been approved with a modeling agency, generally you will submit many different types of photos and head shots which will show you strut your stuff.  After awhile, you will learn the ropes of what it takes to be in the top 1% of models worldwide.

How To Make Yourself Stand out from other Elite Models?

Modeling is not quite what it used to be, and you need to separate yourself from the competition to really stand out.  Most of todays top models are well rounded individuals, that succeed in school, as well as on the runway. 

You should focus on a lot of your talents when applying for such an elite contest such as this, and try to bring out the best of your personality in each role you play.  Many of the judges love to see young women that are not only beautiful on the outside, but also have a good head on their shoulders.

But, do keep in mind that this competition weighs heavily on the fact that you are very lean, tall, and young.  They generally do not accept women that are under 5′ 7″, and are looking for girls between the ages of 18 – 27.
