Exploiting today’s Dental Consumer!
There sure are too many scams out there, and they are trying to take money away from honest, hard-working people! They know that if they want to beat people out of money, they have to find a problem, and then offer an extremely inexpensive solution, to get people to spend five or ten bucks, which the victims will never see again, but because it is a small amount, the con artist’s know that most folks will not complain about it.
For example; everyone seems to want to lose weight or make money, but there are already ten million ways to “attempt” to make money, or to lose weight. Some are legitimate and some are pure bologna! So, the crooks need to find something less saturated; like teeth whitening as an example! Most people want a better and whiter smile, so, here is the latest in a long line of scams perpetrated on the American consumer: Maybe you have seen an ad online that leads you to a website that says: Exploiting the Recession: a Mom’s Trick to Whiter Teeth
When you read this cleverly done website, which contains a bunch con artist material, it says that a single mom, who couldn’t afford paying a professional dentist $400 for a teeth whitening, found a way that you can whiten your teeth for fewer than three bucks!
Then when most people read the convincing advertisement (Congrats to the clever writers of the ad, they should be in Hollywood writing scripts for sit-coms!) they explain that this beautiful woman (a stock photo/clip art of a woman) found an ingenious way to take two different sample packs of teeth whitening products from two different manufacturers and mix them together for an award-winning, can’t lose, sure-to-work, money-saving way to whiten your teeth. Plus, the company that runs the ad is (dumb enough?) to offer these two products for less than $3…Wouldn’t that all get spent on the postage?
But if ten million Americans are dumb enough to send in the three bucks, then these snake-oil salesmen will have scooped up 30 million dollars…enough to retire on! However, no one is getting a brighter, whiter smile! For three bucks, nobody might complain though…heck…people shell out three bucks for a bottle of water when out in public!
Here is the bottom Line: If you need and want a whiter, brighter smile, you have to visit a professional, certified dentist who can do the necessary work and really, truly provide a treatment that will work.
