Beauty Is Not Synonymous To Age
Beauty should not be limited only to the young. Youthfulness fades, but beauty should be ageless. In fact, there are many ways to defy the passage of time in one’s physical appearance. Take Ms. Caren Maceyko who was crowned Ms. Senior Michigan at the age of 64. Although she admits being flattered by people who compliment her on her looks, she firmly asserts that a pleasant attitude and personality is much more appealing than her physical appearance. She attributes her beauty to her diet and exercise regimen. She eats healthy foods while avoiding processed ones. She never smokes but occasionally drinks. She keeps her sexy figure by exercising at a minimum of three times a week, by engaging in both cardiovascular and stretching exercises.
Retired librarian Mary Lee Martin takes extra steps to maintain her youthful appearance, at a ripe age of 95. She never leaves the house without taking the time to her beauty regimen. Even when doing simple errands such as checking the mails, she is very conscious about dressing smartly at all times, with a bit of blush, mascara and eyebrow pencil. She also makes it a point to get a good ten-hour sleep, and to eat right by having at least two or three servings of vegetables every day. Martin is also active socially, being a member of several library club groups and dating a special someone, who surprisingly is ten years younger than she.
Women like Maceyko and Martin may look like the exception, but a lot of women can follow in their steps by being aware and conscious of how they age. Prevention is the key, so when you are in your twenties, always wear sunscreen and moisturizer. When the thirties or forties hit, that is the time when the signs of aging being to appear. Maintaining a good skin regimen by moisturizing and exfoliating daily will help prevent those frown lines and laugh lines.
Minimize the appearance of wrinkles by using creams that have retinoid in them. Beauty products such as Amatokin wrinkle cream and Amatokin solution are effective in to smoothen the lines around your face. When fifty and sixty hits, that is time when you can avail of plastic surgery and Botox to defy gravity. When seventy or eighty hits, life happens and still moves on. So just go with the flow, relish those beauty lines and live life to the fullest.
