The Wrinkle Reduction Techniques
They say the only thing constant in this world is change, and because of that, we can never turn back the hands of time. As years go by, we become wiser, more successful, more fulfilled, and of course, older. Aging may be a normal process, but perhaps there are something we can do in order to delay its occurrence. Our body is a complex, and flexible system. Given the right preventive measures, we can reduce the amount of wrinkles that we will have as we grow older. The key to it is lifestyle change. Here are just some of the ways to make this happen.
Wear sunscreen. Many dermatologists recommend wearing cream with at least a 15 sun protection factor. Avoid too much sun, wear light cotton clothes and wear a hat to protect your eyes and face from harmful UV rays.
Avoid excessive smoking and drinking. Both of these habits increase the amount of free radicals in the body, thereby speeding up the skin’s aging process. Drink moderate amounts of alcohol. Too much of it will lose your skin’s natural elasticity.
Avoid pollutants. As much as possible, keep away from smoke, dirt, fumes and other carbon emissions. These airborne pollutants contribute to free radicals in the skin and contribute to premature aging.
Maintain proper nutrition and diet. Drink lots of water to keep your skin hydrated. Eat food rich in oxidants, Vitamins A, B, C, and E, and minerals such as Zinc and Magnesium. Eat seafoods and nuts which are rich in Omega-3 fatty acids. Besides keeping the skin healthy, they are also good for the heart and keeps diseases, infections, and cancer at bay. Minimize fatty foods, processed foods, and foods with refined sugar in them. Most of these foods contain preservatives, artificial ingredients and other chemicals which lengthen their shelf life, but can also be harmful to the body when taken in large amounts. The rule of thumb in eating properly is that moderation is the key.
Exercise. Keeping a regular exercise and workout schedule and introducing it in your normal, daily routine will help in keeping your body fit and healthy. Cardiovascular activities facilitate the flow of blood and oxygen to the heart, burns calories, and maintains your ideal weight. On the other hand, strength training exercises helps tones your muscles and increases your body’s metabolism. Indirectly, they also keep your skin healthy.
Moisturize, moisturize, moisturize. Using a good facial cream moisturizer will maintain the skin’s moistness and smooth texture. There are different moisturizers with chemicals such as co-enzyme Q10, collagen, elastin, cynergy TK and phytessence wakame, which contains anti-aging components that delays the appearance of wrinkles. Amatokin wrinkle cream and other amatokin skin care products are also effective in preventing premature wrinkles and keeping your skin’s elasticity and natural glow.
