The Gadget For Your Acne
Newer devices have been cropping up in order to meet every consumer’s needs in their long battle with one of the most common, but annoying skin problems which is acne. Most treatments for acne involve putting on creams and ointments with their active chemical ingredients. For instance, many will buy products that contain Acutane, a common ingredient used to treat acne. Other would usually buy staple beauty products over-the-counter, such as Neutrogena, Clearasil or Pro-Active.
But acne-treatment has leveled up, including mini-handheld devices, which can be kept inside your bathroom, together with the toothbrush, shaving blades, and hair blow dryer. These new mini-machines come with an expensive price tag, and boast of treatment results that are very effective. For example, there is a brush used to care for the skin, and at the same tame, minimizes the wrinkles on your face. There is a hair removal device that is almost as big as your iPod and quickly shaves off unwanted hair. There is also a device used to plump up the skin, to give it a more youthful-looking appearance.
Acne is a perennial problem for some people, and it can be a source of a low self-esteem. Some suffer from mild acne, which is characterized by redness on the face while others suffer from severe acne characterized by pus and nodules, which when pinched or removed can leave one scarred for life. Some people are looking for more effective ways in order to rid themselves of this thorny problem. Now, these snazzier devices work like a charm by zapping out acne and pimples, using mini and handy devices that discharges heat or light. For example, the Tanda Skincare system, the Claro and the No!No! skin emits both heat and light in order to treat acne.
According to Michael Moretti from a beauty research firm called Medical Insight, these devices are very popular, being sold globally already. Some dermatologists are confident about such acne light treatments. Dr. Neil Sadick, for instance, wrote in a medical journal that acne light treatment was able to get rid of a bacterial growth associated with acne. However, some doctors were unconvinced, and the handheld devices received mixed reviews about its being effective from the medical community. Dr. Sadick believed that such devices can be effective when used in conjunction with other acne treatments, and as a daily regimen for skin maintenance. These new technology is a glimmer of hope for every person who has suffered from acne all his life.
