Pharmaceutical Grade and Pharmaceutical Standards

Here at Celazome Skin, all of our products are produced at pharmaceutical standards, AND with pharmaceutical grade ingredients. You may ask, “What is the difference between pharmaceutical GRADE and pharmaceutical STANDARDS?” or “Is there a difference?”  These two quality statements describe different aspects of how your products differ from many others.  Pharmaceutical GRADE relates to the quality of chemicals we choose to use, while Pharmaceutical STANDARDS pertains to the quality we uphold while testing, batching, and shipping your products.  Throughout the production process, there are many opportunities for a company to meet, or choose not to meet, pharmaceutical standards. 

The first step toward quality is the selection of what chemicals to use in a product.  Most of the chemicals you see on labels are available in several grades, ranging from reagent grade to United States Pharmacopoeia (USP) grade.  Reagent grade chemicals are typically used in a laboratory setting and are cheaper and less purified than other grades.  USP grade includes the most pure ingredients, which often have to pass specific potency tests before being approved.  Unfortunately, you cannot always look at a label and determine what grade of chemicals a company uses.  This often leads to many companies using the cheapest material they can find, regardless of the impurities present.  With Kara Vita, you are guaranteed that your products always contain the highest grade chemicals available, despite the cost.

Once the chemicals have been chosen, many companies believe the work is done and the product will be perfect.  But we believe Celazome Skin products deserve more than this, and that choosing the right chemicals is just the first step.  After receiving the chemicals, our in-house laboratory begins sampling and testing everything to be sure the purity and potency meets our standards.  Many of our chemical suppliers believe we are quite “picky”, but we feel that you deserve the best products possible! 

Only after meeting our “pharmaceutical standards” do we release a chemical from quarantine and move it onto the production floor.  From here, Celazome Skin products are made and filled into bottles by our quality-driven production staff.  Before being approved to ship to you, the products undergo one more round of testing by our laboratory to once again guarantee you have the purity and potency you deserve!
