NEWPORT BEACH SALON TO &”CUT FOR A CURE&” TO RAISE MONEY FOR OC CANCER CENTER SUNDAY, JULY 18
NEWPORT BEACH, Calif – St. Joseph Hospital and Armando- A Joshua Christopher Salon, have built a rare, but passionate partnership as OC stylists donate time and talent to benefit The Center for Cancer Prevention and Treatment at St. Joseph Hospital on Sunday, July 18 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
“We are so grateful to the salon for opening their doors for such an important cause,” said Carmen Morales, Model Liaison for the Circles of Life Fashion Show at St. Joseph Hospital. “The hospital has a very special relationship with the salon that has grown over the years.”
The Newport salon is providing affordable services, almost 50-80% in discounted prices, on haircuts, deep conditioning treatments, eye brow shaping, hand treatments, and more. The services are priced at $25 for a haircut, $20 for a blow dry, $10 for eyebrow shaping, and $10 for a deep conditioning treatment. No appointment is necessary.
The salon was also the hair and makeup partner for the Circles of Life Fashion Show Luncheon that the hospital held on June 27, 2010. Cancer patients and survivors that were models in the show, received complimentary make-over’s by the salon. The fashion show luncheon raised more than $100,000 for The Center for Cancer Prevention and Treatment at St. Joseph Hospital.
